Exactly as described and exactly perfect for our group. We were 2 senior couples coming back to our hometown as tourists. This location was ideal exploring the 'burgh. We covered a lot of territory, and most of it on foot. The house was well appointed, and we especially appreciated the quality of the coffee, the coffee maker, and the bed and bath linens! 🥰 Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

Had a great stay at Catherine's place. Simple instructions on how to get there/get inside, and we always managed to get the same parking spot - we had good karma!
House was very clean, plenty of lighting throughout. Bedrooms are good-sized, and the master was big enough to have a party, which, of course, we didn't, since we didn't want to break the rules and mess up our parking karma.
Great neighborhood - plenty of shops/restaurants/watering holes within walking distance, and there was never any concern, even when walking back at night. There are a few hills to navigate, but nothing drastic. If/when we circle back to Pittsburgh, we will definitely stay here again as it checked all the boxes for us. Catherine was also a great host, checking on us to see if all was good without being pushy - genuinely caring that we were taken care of.

The question I always ask myself after staying in an place is "Would I stay her again?" The answer is an ABSOLUTE YES!!!!! This was the cleanest place I've EVER stayed in. The decor was not typical but was fun, cozy, and comfortable!!! The host was very helpful and responsive with any questions I had. The area was very walkable with tons of great restaurants and coffee shops! The only draw back is parking...which is just due to the area and not anything the host can control. Thank goodness for off-street parking!!! The streets of Pittsburgh are not made for large vehicles which was a little bit of a problem but not in anyone's control. Just a little FYI to be aware of...if you don't need a big vehicle don't rent a big vehicle!!!
Truly cannot say enough positive about this place!!! You won't regret choosing this place or location!!!!
